Marine Aviation Centennial Folder

I made this Phat Boy folder for Kevin Hobbs, he is raffeling it off to raise money for the Marine Memorial tower in Pensacola Florida. It has Sandvik stainless blade steel, C-TECH bolsters, titanium frame, and stainless steel scales. I had it engraved by Nathan Dickinson, he inlaid copper and 24 carat gold to make the Marine Centennial Aviation logo. The drawing was held on August 19 at the Blue Wahoos baseball game in Pensacola.

American Cancer Society Pink Ribbon Folder

pink_ribbon_thumbnailI made this bread slicing knife to raffle off as a fund raising effort for the American Cancer Society, this is my third annual raffle for this purpose. I made the handle from fiddle back maple,I made and inlayed the pink ribbon and I recycled one of my old bandsaw blades to make the blade.
Raffle tickets are $1.00 each and our goal is to raise $1200.00.

We will draw the winning ticket at bank night for Strides Against Breast Cancer in October.

Calvin Robinson Handmade Knives

calvin_robinsonMy name is Calvin Robinson. After making knives as a hobby for nearly 5 years, I retired from my air conditioning business and began making knives full time in 2008.
I make hunting, fishing, folding and kitchen knives, and use only the finest raw materials. I do everything myself in my own shop, including my own heat treating, which allows me to control the entire knife building process from beginning to end.
My materials include high carbon tool steel, stainless steel, Damascus steel, wood, bone, ivory, antler and mammoth ivory. In addition to these materials, I also use a variety of synthetic materials for my handles. If you are a hunter and have your own antlers, I can use your antlers in your custom knife. I also make custom sheaths from leather and Kydex.

Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you find it helpful. Here is some information about the knives you will find on my site.

FEATURED knives are knives that I have decided to showcase on my website. I will change these out from time to time. Some of these are available for sale, some have been designed for charity and some have already been sold.

AVAILABLE knives are knives I currently have available for purchase.

PORTFOLIO knives are knives are knives that I have sold or donated over the years. These are not all of the knives I have done, but they provide a good sampling of my work.

I would absolutely love to make your next knife, whether it is for you or a loved one.
